Welcome back! This month we had the pleasure of talking with Kyrah Brown and Susan Wolfe about evaluating community collaboratives. We define what collaboratives are, Susan and Kyrah’s approach to evaluating them, and some of the fun and challenging aspects of working with collaboratives. Kyrah and Susan are both trained as community psychologists, so they approach all of their work from that perspective. We learned a lot and we think you will, too, so give it a listen!

Next month we chat with Kerry Anne McGeary at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We’ll pick her brain about health evaluation, health policy, and the Foundation’s approach to grant making and evaluation. That episode drops on September 3, so please tune in!

Sponsors! We want to acknowledge this episode’s unwitting sponsor. Folks, hang on to your spreadsheets, because this week’s episode is brought to you by none other than Susan Wolfe’s dogs, Chica Bonita and Mija Linda. Being the celebrities they are, Chica and Mija host their own Facebook page, but you shouldn’t click on the link unless you’re prepared to spend at least 30 minutes scrolling through their photos. Chica and Mija added a touch of levity to an otherwise mundane week, so we want to give them the credit they deserve. Head over to their Facebook page and give them some love!
